Winter Break Programs
Winter programs provide an excellent opportunity to explore a particular discipline and culture during the break between the fall and spring semesters. While Davidson does not offer any faculty-led winter programs or have a set "approved list," students can participate in and transfer credit from partner institutions and organizations. Several recommended options are listed below. Students should review the application process for winter programs to ensure they do not miss any deadlines and note that they must complete a "Winter Break Program - Partner" application in addition to completing the partner requirements.
The Davidson application and all partner program materials for winter break are due October 1.
Students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Education Abroad Adviser to review the application process, deadlines, credit transfer process, and cost information. Advisers can also share information about grant and scholarship options for winter programs.
